This annual event will be holding its 11th show on the Gold Coast from 25th – 30th Aug 2009. There are a number of dramatic changes to the standard and diversity of the event to provide attendees with a biking experience to remember. This year, the Gold Coast Rally features three days of new motorcycle and scooter displays; test rides; schools competitions; ‘Tearaway Tuesday Ride’; AMD Pro Show, poker run; and a number of sand events.

A new coordinator, Chris Sweeney, has been appointed to fill the position vacated by former owner of the event, Dave Leden. Chris is a USA Harley-Davidson trained rally coordinator with vast experience, running both State and National H.O.G. rallies as well as H.O.G. Touring Rides.

The slight name change indicates the new focus the event takes entering its next decade.
