Di Bella Coffee Open Day
AMI supported one of our local Brisbane dealers, Choppazilla, at the
2009 Di Bella Coffee Open Day on Saturday August 29th with 6
choppers, one drag bike and a donation of a custom painted helmet and jacket
for the charity auction. Over a quarter of a million dollars worth of beautiful
bikes glistened in the sunlight of a warm day. Andrew and Dan from Choppazilla
also displayed a show polished 101ci Patrick Race motor, photos of their
previous bike builds and handouts.
The day was very well supported by coffee
lovers, friends and passer bys. Tours of the entire coffee making process,
barista competitions, kids rides, food and lots of coffee to sample were all on
offer. The auction raised $701 for the helmet, $500 for the leather jacket and
$300 for the bicycle jersey worn on the Brisbane
to Adelaide Variety Charity ride by Di Bella employee Sam DiBacco. The entire
Di Bella staff donated their wages for the day and the Di Bella company spends
over $250,000 each year helping various community initiatives.

Hunter Raffle Draw
The Gold Coast Motorcycle Rally Raffle was drawn on Sunday, at the goodbye stop on the V-TOC / American Cruise.
The
draw was held at Phelan’s Bakery and Coffee Shop, The Hub Shopping
Centre, Uhlman Road Burpengary at 3pm.The winning ticket was drawn out
by a Bakery staff member. 
The winning ticket was number 1177, purchased by Brad Manuel of Bli Bli, Sunshine Coast.
The prizes will be handed over at Custom Central, 10am Friday September 4th.
Brad and his wife have visited today, signed the rego papers and tried on jeans, jackets, gloves and helmets.
They are very happy with the prize, and can’t believe their luck, with no previous wins. Thanks to all who bought tickets.
